How to Be Unungated in a Category
For automotive, for example, all you have to do is show that you have some sort of storefront and your own Amazon storefront actually does the trick. For most other categories, you need to take the time to get items from a wholesale source or a distributor in units of 10. So if I wanted to sell in grocery, for instance, I would need to buy 10 units of a salt shaker maybe and then show Amazon that I purchased it from a legitimate distributor then I should be ungated in that category.
