The Problem With Phenomenal Consciousness

For a long time people have assumed there's a mind brain identity. When we experience sensations in whatever modality it may be, they are always representations. The ideas of our brain has come up with a way of thinking and looking at the world which comes across to us as having these properties. In just the same way when I see redness for example, my brain is coming up with a kind of text which represents the quality of redness. But the text itself and the brain, the neural activity won't be phenomenally read.
