The London Review of Books is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. We're going to talk about political crisis, but specifically the crisis of liberalism. And what the current crisis of liberalism might consist of and how writers might attempt to try and narrate that crisis. Katrina Catrim's book in the shadow of justice puts a particular articulation of liberalism back into social, political, and economic history.
