Bonnie Ray and Michael McDonald on the Last Waltz

The opening track, as you say, is hanging all together. There are a lot of special guests. How do they actually record? Well, these pieces were all done separately in their respective homes or studios. They go to wherever they live. Bonnie has an engineer near her house where she lives in Northern California. The funny thing was Michael McDonough, I had crossed paths with him over the last several years, maybe about six or seven years ago. He happened to be in New Orleans. This was four years ago. Right before the pandemic, he was coming to New Orleans. It was amazing.
