Is It the Inflation That Is Keeping People Out of the Labor Force?
We do not have a demand problem. We still have a supply problem where nothing i mean, i think one of the things is that when the pandemic hit, a lot of people were forced to leave the labor force. And then they made decisions that are keeping them out now. How high does a price need to go to change that behavior? I'm talking about wages. It's clear that workers in the united states are underpaid. They hadn't had wet, you know, wage gains in real terms for decades. and we're making up for some lost time now, but in were we haven't made up enough.
