Thessaly and the Goddesses of the Sea and the Sea Nymphs

Thessaly was one place in particular where devotion to the nariids was present on the shore line among the greeks and among the persians too. Nariids were thought who inhabit the caves which are along the coast of thessaly, on mount pelion, and also in side of the pagasa gulf. We know about thes devotion from a play that euripides actually set at the sanctuary of phetis, near the city of pharsilus. So because she was the patron goddess of that stretch of coast line, this is a persian priest making a sacrifice to an ancient greek seamyth of greek mythology.
