Every time we give something, we are strengthening the associated factors of meta, love and kindness and renunciation. Why do we give? Because we're having a friendly feeling towards someone. The practice of it in this way as a practice of right view contributes to the growth of wisdom. But again, there's no way to overestimate the importance of these teachings of karma. There is a fruit of our actions, that we are the heirs, we are owners of our actions.
