The Handmaid's Tale

I'm thinking of the two dystopias that are most frequently referenced in contemporary discourse outside the world of fiction. Probably 1984 and the Handmaid's Tale. Orwell was natural for me because he was so important in my life and later on in my work. In one of the stories you imagine a meeting with George Orwell, what did you want to discuss with him as a fellow giant of the form? Oh, well, it had to be him. The ask was from a magazine called Ink, I-N-Q-U-E. They asked living writers to choose any dead writer that they wish and conduct an interview with that person.
