The Vedantic Approach to the Body Mind
Vedantic tradition uses the word I in a different sense. They use it to refer to not the illusory temporary finite self, but the true self. The eye is the common name for that which knows or is aware. When we say, I know my thoughts, I refers to that which knows our thoughts. And when we say,. I am aware of feelings and sensations, I refers To that which is aware of feelings and sensations.
