The Importance of Normal Care in a Clinical Trial

A trial that was just published with Luke and at Whiplash, I think this week, comparing stratified care to usual care showed no difference at all. There are a number of trials that have shown that, including multi-disc care, 12 months later, it doesn't show great effects to usual care. And we were interested in what happens to someone who's had back pain for four years and are disabled and they've gone through this journey of the health system,. where do they end up?
