The Importance of Projecting
When you meet a founder, especially for a student-asseter angel lesson, is to project. Now what is this project capable of today? What's this project going to be like in 10 years? You're looking for a sustained rate of growth. Sometimes we have to make an extension of a lot of pre-assisted history in the founder. It's very hard to make a judgment call on a 20-minute, 40-minute, 60-minute meeting of the rate of growth over the next 10 years.
