What Are the Other Terms Around Rates of Change?

In physics, we talk about speed. That's a rate of changef position with respect to time. We have acceleration. But even something as simple as a pay check is not too fast or too slow for naked eye observation. Whereas the processes in the body ar are so fast sometimes, and the molecules or the cells involved are so small that biology just intrinsically really hard. And economics and sociology and psychology are even harder still.
