Sufi Groups Are Not Permanent
Sufi groups are highly specialized entities, and certainly no job for amateurs. No sufi will say that there should be a group which is not based on natural human proclivities or which should be completely other than any familiar human group. A good test is to see whether complete strangers with no sotericist interests at all, feel at ease in the group. If they do not, it is not a sufic group. The characteristic of a real sufi group is that its members are chosen and harmonized so as to develop the maximum learning advantage from the group.
