The History of Ancient Europe
Old Europe revolved around settlements and especially the home, rather than cemeteries or burials. The people of old Europe made ceramic figurines that were used over and over and over again in domestic contexts. So even though there were disruptions and discontinuities and changes over those 2000 years, I do believe that old Europe was coherent enough to stand as a civilization in its own right.
