Wen: I talk a lot about mindfulness. We talked about the other thing that people talk about in buddhism, which is selflessness. And i think about it as the ability to see what's going on your head at any given moment without getting carried away by it. The steady application of the meditative posture, like the steadiness of an attuned parent, allows something inherent in the mind's potential to emerge.
