Movie Review: In the Mouth of Madness in Full

The film is inflected with a bit of a science fiction flavor that's not there and the other visual influences on it, like the earlier Carpenter movies. Tom Atkins has been in a ton of films over the years but he's often typecast as a cop. He kind of plays that cliche, hard-living, hard-drinking, tough-guy cop character in this movie. It makes it a little weird, but it works because this is a type of role that Atkins excelled at.
