The Web Telescope and the Search for Signs of Life on Other Planets

The web telescope is already beginning to give us signs of possible life on other planets. The big thing that the web will be able to do is allow us to start in detail probing the atmospheres of hundreds, if not thousands of planets. It's got a 20-year lifetime and there are an awful lot of clever young scientists out there trying to find signatures of life.
