Is Consciousness Dependent on Our Biology?
There's an open question about whether consciousness depends on being made out of a particular kind of stuff. Some people would say that it really doesn't matter what a system is made out of. But in a living organism, there's no sharp distinction between mind wear and wet war. Added to that, the only examples of things that we know are conscious arboological system so that should kind of default starting point until proven otherwise.
