A lot of them have been sexually abused. They've been neglected as children. And about 71% have reported sexual abuse in one way or another by a non-caregiver. So there's a lot of vulnerability that comes out of that childhood and paired with maybe some depression and anxiety That abuse perpetuates itself into a personality such as what's called a borderline personality.
