The Future of Nuclear Weapons
The last nuclear detonation was two months after I was born in 1992. We're still using basically the same reactor technology and nuclear naval vessels that was used 50, 60, 70 years ago. There's actually a lot of interesting biology derived systems where you can take bacteria and a little bio reactor that puts out methane gas to run a fuel cell. Muscles that go in machines are going to be a really big deal. For example, building self-power scavenging robots that can live off of grass out in a field. Imagine if you could have radio relays that roam the planes and just eat grass.
