The Democratic Party Is a Disaster

The Republican Party is in a terrible situation, and again, I tend to think of that as a good thing. If you are one of these Congress critters that we have today, the fundraising people who are by nature, some of the best risk avoidance mechanisms you've ever seen,. All they care about in this Donald Trump thing is making the right choice to preserve their political career and options later. They're the ultimate hedgers, but they're paralyzed and you can see it. The immigration talk that we have now is that it clearly has some racist overtones. That's ugly. But this idea that controlling your borders is somehow authoritarian doesn't stand up to the smell test.
