The Importance of Embedded Journalism
During the Iraq war, there was something called embedded journalism. The intel operators travel with the journalists and information is fed to them. Then, critical questions are not asked because the media is embedded with the military. All you got was that, oh, what a fabulous thing that's happening. But you don't tell the civilians how many civilians were killed. That nobody gets to hear. This is part of your media management. Would India do that kind of media management? I hope not."
