The allocator is a tool by which the cosmos cub can hold non-native assets in various way, shapes and forms. There are at least three different teams that are building like ETFs type instruments for Cosmos. Once you own a bunch of assets, you also have to manage it - this ability to algorithmically rebalance is critical to the allocator module succeeding. It's borrowing concepts from international trade and political alliances to create that alignment.

Cosmos has grown to become one of the largest blockchain ecosystem, with apps and services trading at more than $59 billion market cap

However, the community has always criticized ATOM, the token that powers the ecosystem, for its inability to accrue value
