The Importance of Interdisciplinarity

A lot of work did come out of social relations that was very synthetic and interdisciplinary like Bruners. But it wasn't the kind of interdisciplinarity that I think some people might have anticipated they would have had Parsons. That's my impression, whereas many of the interdisciplinary thinkers like Reesman and others were willing to experiment with new things without boundaries.
