The Hostess' Story
The three dervishes had nowhere to sleep that night, so the caliph demanded that Jafar take them to his own house to crash. The next day, they would have the dervishes buy to chronicle their stories but there was still something hanging open. Just like the hostess and the other two women didn't question why they were picked up by the caliph's men and dragged to the palace the following morning. He had to know. Had to know why one woman beat those dogs and the other wept on the floor, covered in scars.
