CBDC - Is the Merchant Optimizing or the Credit Card Company Optimizing?

There's some weird stuff going on with CBDC. It's because the US system is different from other systems. We have a constitutional system and the Fed's got to deal with that. The DOJ, it's got its beak into these credit card companies for a reason that relates to CBDC. That story to me is like, they want to get the train tracks right. And I could be totally wrong about that. But I don't, this isn't a bet. This is not about helping consumers.
