Are You Signing Up for What the Bible Teaches?

I think we live in such an HR sustainability oriented framework that we can sometimes forget that that's not the promise of serving Jesus. We signed out for participation in the sufferings of Christ. But I don't think I read the fine print. It wasn't in the sign of the Bible. And so I think a lot of times, in spite of your best effort, you actually won't make much progress. That's the nature of the challenges that we face. They're not solvable and they're not fixable. There are constant, overwhelming tensions that have to be managed.
