In most of the industry right now, in about two or three years, you will have a senior title just because you've been around for long enough. What i think is more important is, if you're five years into your career, very important to make sure that you have five years of experience - not one year of experience, five times. So it's like it really depends on more on the type of experience than the actual amount of time. But whereas the experience i'm building now being in sulicon valley start ups, if i want to go work for a web design agency, tou are going to be like, we don't know what to do with you.
