And wherever you want, if you want it based out of washington state or san jose, california, or wherever, you can do that. It's more about online identities. There's no reason to give real names for something like joining a massed on server or a twitter because these sites will inevitably get compromised by the government in some way. That data is priceless to these companies, so why not fill it with junk data?
