The Importance of Faith and Reason

We're going to look at what St. Thomas Aquinas has to say about the historical Jesus. This traditionally comes from the Enlightenment, I think, basically. So we can align a tradition of looking at the scriptures as if they're just any other book and looking at Christ stories in there and being super skeptical about them. And it's the responsibility of the historian on his belief that religion is more substantial than its superstition.
