The Importance of Permanence
In terms of what our culture supports and our friends support, I mean, it's an insane world. And so insane things get supported and sane things often don't get supported. In terms of the material goals, just seem more attainable. While you seek for goals which cannot be achieved, you look for permanence in the impermanent for love where there is none for safety in the midst of danger immortality within the darkness of the dream of death. So we're wanting those things, but we're going after the wrong goals to achieve them.
