Cognitive Science - Is There a Pushback in the Other Direction?
I would like to see more studies that don't just group people together and analyze the data based on the group. And not only consider how they differ in terms of a single snormantive structure thach sof the group, but how people may differ in the particular way they do things. So there is some of this out there already. It's hard to do bu you need large numbers, cane expensive. But i think, in terms of ultimate pay off, really want to know about individuals. We don't care so much about groups. Although to the extent that we're trying to characterize what's in common across the species, we do care about groups.
