Is This Really a Hair Cut?
It's nice to think there are people out there being clever and having good ideas. It makes you feel like what you do is part of the great chain of human progression. I jos't see so many parallels with science where there's so much life, like unwartnism. Reading the details is even if you know what they are, what they're supposed to represent, its still work. And it's fun to be excited by stuff. It's nice to let yourself be carried away by the possibilities of the narrative. A story about a man who did empirical due diligence that probably cost him about 80 bucks saved them something like six orders of magnitude worth of hair cut. Yeh
