LZ Granderson: I was going to say that late great David Downing, but I realized that that's not a good idea. LZ: Well, these inaugural lectures are actually because we are co-chairs for the Marion E. Wade chair of Christian thought. We don't have to add great to the front of his name like a title, do we? LZ: Okay, let's get to the subject of David's inaugural lecture. He called it, When is a Dragon, More Than a Dragon? And he used the idea of dragons as a way to compare the visions of Lewis and Tolkien.
