Kasdan and Spielberg's Empire Strikes Back
Spielberg and George Lucas pull in Lawrence Kasdan to write the screenplay with him. He hadn't yet worked with Lucas, but Spielberg was hot on him after he wrote the script for continental divide. The hero is named after my dog, Indiana. At one point, Spielberg tried to turn him into a badass with a machine gun.
