The Fed's Investigation of Ford Motors
If I was a short seller that was trafficking in that kind of business and I was told the Fed is now sitting there having meetings about Silicon Valley bank's financial problems, I'd be willing to short that stock. But you know, we don't even hear about those investigations. No one step up and help a bank wait till they go in the FDIC receivership, let the stockholders get out first. And yes, the mismanaged die first in a systemic problem, but it is the mismanaged that are dying.
