I have such a reflexively recoil at them being equated. They're not the same thing at all. I'm spending a lot more time working on whiteness in the Jewish community than I am doing these talks on anti-Semitism for example. The roots of it are also an interesting and worthwhile thing for us to engage as Black folks too because how do we come to have these ideas? We've turned in some cases in deliberation theology and other cases still manifest in really regressive ways whether it's misogyny, homophobia and anti-Semitism is kind of interwoven into these same narratives.
