I found it very hard to take Maresma out her word when she said she had the will and the desire. The matches that were chosen were great, great matches and loads of great women's matches happen this tournament. I don't really understand why also if you don't want to schedule a singles followed by doubles, why can't you have a doubles in reserve on another court like at Wimbledon? That would be her showing that she has the will, and at the moment her actions are not backing up her words in that respect.
