The Problem With Hierarchies in Organizational Life
I think that is the mark of great leaders, that they need to be challenged. Steve Jobs does his best work when he has people like Wozniak around him. When he is on his own at next and he doesn't, he does less well. I completely agree with you. It's not a trivial problem to solve in organizational life. And it's one of the reasons why bullying is such an issue.
