The RBA's Soft Landing Hard Landing Problem

The RBA may well pause the rate hiking cycle, as they like to say, in April. The target rate is two to three percent, almost three times higher than that. Some of the ANZ bank data suggests there was some serious negative sales growth earlier this week. It's one of those situations where everything's looking really good and getting back to the way we want it to be. But at the same time, I think it's still too early to be celebrating.
