As a child, I thought adults were impervious to everything that could possibly go wrong. My dad worked for decades and didn't save a dime; he saw raising us as his duty. When my father's company went bankrupt, we had to move from rural New Hampshire to Florida. Adults have it all figured out,. disasters and problems are things that kids have to deal with. Of course, there's some truth to this.
