Is There a Difference Between Kant and Rousseau?

Kant inherits a problem from Rousseau specifically with regard to the multiple ends of our nature. It seems that Kant's answer is quite different from Rousseau's. But it's not clear to me, finally gives a kind of final integrative account of how that tragic two-sidedness of our nature can finally be reconciled.
