The second thing i think is important is normalizing the idea of investing as just one other thing that adults do. So oftentimes what you're trying to do is get your ants to be a little bit more like grasshoppers, says Marsh. They are taking some risk in investing, but it's a moderate risk without developing a gambling problem. The point is to have the account, having it already set up, so that it's not a big chore to go and open and do these things.
