When Should a Founder Sell a Company?
Once a year, you should tell everybody that you're going to think about whether you should sell the company or not. Are we growing at the right rate? Are things working or not? Do we think we have real product market fit? If we were to sell now, would we sell to? Should we build those relationships just in case? All that kind of stuff, right? And so I think that's really underdone. It doesn't make it sound like you're trying to sell and it doesn't make the board members sound like they're trying to push you. You can just have a rational conversation.
