The kind of decarbonization policies that are being pursued, I've started to refer to them as boutique decarbonization. Things like EV incentives for cars only the ultra-rich can afford usually as a second or third vehicle. Feed-in tariffs where affluent families can be rewarded for making a $30,000, $40,000 investment. Maybe it's cheaper now in putting rooftop solar on and getting paid a premium rate,. which is of course funded by non-home owners in a very regressive manner.
