avoiding technology an hour before bed will really help to calm the nervous system and insure a better night's sleep. dimming the lights, bringing a quieter atmosphere to the house, putting on some soft music, and maybe shutting down the wifefi at a certain time of night. Taking time out with your children to do some creative activities is a really great way for everybody to come together in the present moment and connect. Being creative isn't just about doing something arty. It could be cooking, gardening, writing, playing music, dancing, any activity that will bring your mind into the present moment.
