The Power of Story
In the beginning of the Psalms, he talks about the importance of story and this idea of narrative. That God has a narrative story that he wants to include us into. And if you take the narrative thread, all of a sudden you can teach a lot of the doctrines through the story. Augustine imitates the divine pedagogy. He really commits himself to that in a way that I wonder if we even do.
