Do You Know What Stereotypes Are?
Stereotypes are lazy labels and tropes that have been thrown around because some people could not be asked to challenge their biases. People may say these things, but they don't actually believe them or embody them. And when you let them go and don't call them out, they just get embedded into our everyday conversations. Sometimes these stereotypes are used to forge a person's identity in a group so if they align to the group mentality, they'll be accepted by that group.
