Plant Cognition Is a Wonderful Activity

Plants have somewhere between 15 in 20 distinct senses, and some of these can be compared to our basic set of human senses. A vine or root seems to know when it encounters a solid object. Plant roots have been found to be able to sense gravity, moisture, light, pressure, firmness. And that just a little bit, you get into the realm of communication.
