The Nine Letters on the Floor

Najaha to now asks for a volunteer to say one of the letters on the floor. This is then repeated several times so that all the children are familiarized with all nine letters. When the children know what to do, they can work together in smaller groups and play the letter. In this example, she asks Ibrahim to spell out Biyu, the house award for the number two. Once the children have secured the meaning and spelling of the word, they are asked to contextualize it and use it in a meaningful sentence. Soo this katapukanswa. Jumla tatakkha.
